Industry 4.0 & Robotic Automation

I had the privilege of working with a Robotics and Automation startup in Dallas during the last year of my Bachelors degree. I was tasked with automating a Universal Robotics Robot Arm and a visual inspection system together.

The inspection system had a camera with a lens that allowed everything it captured to be 1 to 1 and not scaled in any way, a crucial feature for accurate measurement. Based on that measurement the Robot would perform a routine. It’s important to note that the robot would have performed any routine given it, illustrating the latent possibility in Robotic Automation
